Nancy H. Marshall
Nancy Marshall joined Reich & Paolella as an associate in 2013. Her responsibilities at the firm have included the defense of a large retailer-owned wholesale grocery cooperative against claims that it converted valuable intellectual property and breached various contracts.
Previously, Nancy served for eight years as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s Office. She also worked as an associate at Day, Berry & Howard (now Day Pitney).
An experienced trial lawyer, Nancy conducted numerous jury trials as a prosecutor, with all but one case in her seven years of criminal trial work resulting in convictions. Nancy also headed the District Attorney’s Domestic Violence and Elder Crimes Unit and served as a member of the Appeals Bureau, where she wrote appellate briefs and argued before New York State’s Appellate Division.
Nancy received a B.A. from Harvard University, where she received the Elizabeth Aggasiz Merit Award for Academic Excellence. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
